JIF JOHNSON: MUSIC

Accurso (2017 - 2019)

Twenty years later, I think we're too old to play shows. But here comes a new record! I hope you like Milton.

Preview: Forgetful Lake

"Eternal Demos" on Bandcamp.

You got your Mummyshots here. (2007 - 2013)

Click here for the Mummyshots Web page. Lots of free MP3s. OODLES.

We played once or twice a year, usually to give away our latest thing. M2 is my favorite.

Here's some photos. Thanks to Lynn, Clint, Donny, Dave, and the lovely Johnson Ryders.

We also smurfed the film score for The Magnetic Chef.

If you don't want to visit our Web page, everything is also on Bandcamp.

You got your good ol' Hammerdown Turpentine here. (1998 - 2004)

Click here for the original Hammerdown Turpentine Website that Clint made a few years back. It's got most of my hilarious newsletters as well. We have more of all our old records left. Send an email if you really must.

The basic gist: Click here for a samplin' of what HDT sounded like.

We had banjo songs in G and we had guitar songs in E. Well, Horace said it took him eight years to decide if one of his poems was good. I'd say these songs are at least as good as Horace's. The band was mostly: Jif, Lynn, Clint, Ollie, Dave, Donny, some Drake, some Rob. Maybe even YOU. Here's an old write-up. Oh hell, here's another free song. We played shows—like a real band!

UPDATE: Now we've got everything on Bandcamp.

Before all the above, Clint and I had a band with an electric guitar. From Pittsburgh with love: The Weird-Ons.

There's also a page of songs from our one-shot bands and miscellaneous musical projects.
